Company Description: Professional Benefits Consulting (Pty) Ltd is a registered company in terms of the Companies Act (Registration number: 1997/003621/07) and is owned by Vincent Francis Knox who is a qualified Chartered Secretary (FCIS) and a Professional accountant (SA), whilst also holding other business qualifications.

Background: Professional Benefits Consulting (Pty) Ltd was formed in 1997 with the primary function of investigating the formation of a medical scheme for the Built Environment Professions, whilst in 2000 PBC became a fully fledged risk management consultancy company to the professional firms. To this end PBC now markets a full range of products specifically suited to Corporate Companies, Professional Firms and their staff.  

Mission Statement: PBC is committed to providing total risk management solutions in a cost effective and transparent manner, offering efficient operational support administration to the Built Environment Professions’.

Goals and Objectives:  To increase the effective footprint of PBC to include the major, as well as the smaller centres throughout the country, in providing the risk management solutions and support administration to the Consulting Firms who are members of the professional Bodies; Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA), The Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS) and the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA), as well as other Built Environment Profession.

Business philosophy: PBC operates in accordance with a set of principals that are the pillars of its existence, these being transparency, integrity, honesty and most of all in the interest of the client.
